All About Red Pandas

There are a multitude of facts about red pandas that a lot of
people surprisingly don't know about. Red pandas were the first "panda"
to be discovered. The giant panda wasn't discovered until fifty years
after the red panda. Most people believe that red pandas are related to the
giant panda due to the name, but they are actually more closely related
to raccoons. Red pandas are actually more similar to cats than they are bears

Surprisingly, red pandas spend about two-thirds of their days sleeping.
They often sleep on their tails, which are normally between 12 and 20
inches long. Red pandas also make a variety of different noises, such as tweets,
squeals, quacks, grunts, and hisses.
